Stingray fountain, 2015, Prague

The concept of the artistic design for the outdoor area in front of the Rejnok Pavilion is based on the continuity of the visual and tactile experience with the live newts inside the pavilion. The rectangular area in front of the pavilion is intended for the relaxation of visitors and to provide a distraction for them during periods of high interest in the activities inside the pavilion.

I aimed to emphasize and amplify the impression from the exhibit. The irregularly paved terrain wave evokes the view of a sea surface with stylized newts floating in it. The impression is enhanced by water jets integrated into the pavement.
